Work integrated learning

Work integrated learning means working in an industry setting. You might go to a sporting club, recreational facility, government institute or a research centre.

If you're doing the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science you must complete 250 hours of placement throughout your degree (either part time or full time). Some travel might be necessary.

You’ll use the InPlace platform to upload essential documents, submit your placement preferences and find out where you’ve been placed. Log in with your student ID and password.

Find out more about organising your work integrated learning via InPlace.

[Being part of Federation’s Elite Athlete Program has] been very helpful in terms of the money side, assisting with travel to competitions and affording new equipment."
