What to expect at Orientation
Day 1 is all about your course and campus. You'll get to explore your facilities, find out important course information and meet other new students. Day 2 is dedicated to study skills sessions designed to prepare you for university.
Attendance is compulsory for all students. Don’t forget to bring your student ID number and a laptop if you have one (or a notebook and pen). Our campus is cashless, so plan ahead.
If you can't attend, let us know and we'll make sure you have everything you need to start with confidence.
Day 1: Tuesday 14 July
Day 1 is all about your course and your campus. Start with your Institute Welcome and Course Overview, then explore your facilities, meet other new students, and dive into the fun extras.
Explore the campus with tours running from 1 to 3 pm. Campus tours depart every 15 minutes from outside Building U, and library tours run every 30 minutes from outside the Library.
Join the sports tour from 1:30 to 2 pm at the Gym Foyer in Building P and meet at Bai Err Café to go for the bush walk from 2 to 2:30 pm.
If you’re a domestic student, you can collect your Student ID card from the library at any point during the day.
