Join the FedAwards celebration

All eligible nominees will be invited to the in-person FedAwards celebration on Friday 7 November 2025 in Ballarat, where winners will be announced.

On the night, we’ll also be recognising the valuable contributions of our Senate Leaders, celebrating the achievements of the Fed Falcons, and congratulating those undertaking the Emerging Leaders Program. These recognition awards are not open for nomination.

How we pick FedAward winners

A panel of three Federation University Australia staff members will review all nominations. The panel is selected to ensure fairness and diversity, with all members acting in an impartial capacity.

After nominations close, the judging panel will review all eligible nominations for each award category and award one winner (certificates & trophies). If there is a tie, the panel will discuss and make a final decision by majority vote or award an honourable mention. All decisions made by the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal.

Nominees may be subject to academic or conduct standing requirements. Students under academic probation, suspension, or disciplinary review may not be eligible for nomination. These requirements help ensure that all nominees uphold the University's standards of academic integrity and personal conduct.

Nominators and nominees are advised that any personal information submitted will be used solely for judging purposes.
