UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
Electricians are paid higher than average weekly full time wages and a high number of job openings are expected over the next five years, according to the Department of Employment.
Study this certificate while you complete your apprenticeship and you can apply for an A Grade Electrical Licence through an approved Energy Safe Victoria examination process. You'll learn the broad range of electrical skills including installing and maintaining electrical components, wiring, equipment and systems.

Course overview
This qualification provides a trade outcome through an apprenticeship in Electrotechnology covering work in domestic, industrial and commercial applications. The program provides competencies to select, install, test, fault find, repair, maintain and commission electrical installations, appliances and equipment. It includes Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council (ERAC) requirements for an ‘A Grade” Electrical licence’

• PPE: Work boots as per AS/NZ 2210.3, class 1 work boots comprising of safety toe and a sole that is resistant to most oils, acids and chemicals $250 - $300
