Learn how to cite data sets in IEEE style. Use correct templates and formats to reference sources accurately in your writing.
In-text citations

Reference list
- Include the version number if applicable.
- Include the DOI whenever one is available.
- If an edition, version or volume number is available, add a comma (,) after the title with the abbreviation and number. See IEEE Reference Style Guide – Common Abbreviations for examples.
