Metrics for impact
Use research metrics to ensure your publications are correctly attributed, measure your research performance and choose the best places to publish.
Make sure your publications are recognised and your achievements are visible. Metrics can help you:
- benchmark your publications against peers, research areas, institutions or the world
- showcase your strengths and performance for academic promotion and grants
- choose the best journals to publish to make sure your research is seen.
Individual author metrics
Ensure your publications are linked to your profile and benchmark your work for academic promotion. View and export reports on your research performance to use as evidence for grants and promotions and to promote your research to future collaborators.
Before you start, make sure you have an ORCID. It’s your global researcher ID, and it’s essential for academic promotion at Federation.
Create a Researcher Profile
Go to Web of Science and select 'Register' to make an account.
If you have an existing online account with another Clarivate product (such as Incites or EndNote) you'll already have a login. Use your existing login credentials to access your account.
