HVP Plantations (HVP) is one of Australia’s largest private timber plantation companies. HVP employs over 700 staff and contractors.

The HVP estate equates to 240,000 hectares of land across Victoria, of which around 170,000 hectares is plantation (predominantly pine) and 50,000 hectares is native forest. The company supplies over 3 million tonne of wood annually to primarily local manufacturing industries, mainly structural sawn timber, fibre board products, paper, and packaging.

As a matter of policy and practice, HVP does not harvest native forest. Our native forest estate is managed for conservation values.

HVP was the first plantation company to be third-party certified under the internationally recognised Forest Stewardship Council process. HVP is also certified under the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification via Responsible Wood.
