Support a scholarship
Scholarships supported by the Federation University Foundation help students stay focused on learning, complete their studies and realise their potential.
Why scholarships matter
Scholarships not only remove barriers to participation, they also provide students with the stability and confidence they need to focus on learning, engage fully in university life, and plan for the future.
Because of our generous donors, we’re able to offer hundreds of Foundation scholarships each year. This crucial financial support helps students across disciplines, campuses and study levels, including many from regional areas and underrepresented communities. Funding is awarded through independent, transparent University processes based on set eligibility criteria.
How you can support a scholarship
If you’re interested in donating, you can contribute to an existing fund or establish a new scholarship. Think about who you’d like to help. You could support students experiencing financial hardship, those from rural and regional areas or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. There might be a cause that has personal significance. And if you’re not sure where to start, we can offer guidance. Contact foundation@federation.edu.au to discuss an idea or ask questions about the process.
