Federation University has been part of regional Victoria for more than 150 years. Today, we're integral to the development and success of the Ballarat, Berwick, Gippsland and Wimmera regions.

As a dual-sector institution, we're helping shape the economic and social growth of the local communities we serve. This contribution extends well beyond our campuses. Independent economic analysis

The figures above are from a report by SED Advisory, a Ballarat-based strategic enterprise. We commissioned the group to analyse how Federation University, Federation TAFE and our graduates contribute to the economic prosperity and workforce of our local communities. The modelling was based on the assumption that 70% of Federation graduates will stay in their local region and be employed in their field of study. The report includes both short-term and 25-year estimates.
