About Mark

Mark Toohey’s professional career began in chartered accountancy at Arthur Young before he took senior finance roles at ANZ Banking Group Ltd and GE Capital in Australia and Japan.

Mark was a member of the Victoria University Council for 10 years and a board member of State Trustees Ltd. for 10 years. He was Chair of Port of Hastings Ltd and is currently a board member for a not-for-profit contemporary Australian art museum. Additionally, Mark is Chair of the Department of Treasury and Finance and the V/Line Audit Committees, and a member of the Health and Education Department's Audit Committees.

Mark has a strong focus on strategic planning and execution, resource development and risk management.
