Academic Board and committee membership elections

Find out why staff participation on boards and committees matters and how you can influence governance.

The Academic Board (supported by its Committees) helps to make sure Federation's academic governance system meets the requirements of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021 and other regulatory standards.

When an elected board or committee member term expires, we put the call out for nominations, then hold elections to appoint new members. This is a fantastic opportunity for Federation staff and students to contribute to University decision making.
