About the theatre
The Black Box Theatre is a flexible performance space that accommodates up to 90 guests. Also known as the Post Office Box Theatre, it is primarily used for Arts Academy student productions and exhibitions – but also available for venue hire. The theatre includes professional sound and projection, with additional equipment such as microphones, lecterns and staging available on request.
You’ll find the Black Box Theatre at our Camp St Campus in Ballarat, in the historic Post Office building. Enter via Lydiard Street North, pass through the archway under the tower, then follow the path to your right.
