Gippsland Children's Centre
Childcare for children aged six weeks to five years and state‑funded kindergarten, welcoming families from Federation and the wider Gippsland community.
Opening hours
Find us on the Federation University Gippsland Campus. Our purpose‑built centre has space for 75 children across five rooms, including a kindergarten room, with children grouped by age and stage of development. Large outdoor areas give children space to explore and connect with other children, siblings and educators, while our indoor spaces are designed for meaningful play.
About Gippsland Children's Centre
All our educators are trained in first aid, CPR, and asthma and anaphylaxis management to help keep your child safe. We keep our child‑to‑educator ratios low (1:4 for children under three and 1:11 for children over three) to make sure every child gets the attention they need.
Jodie Petesic is the Centre Coordinator and brings many years of experience to the role. Her qualifications include:
- Diploma of Children's Services, Central Gippsland College of TAFE
- Certificate in Protective Behaviours
- Early Childhood Australia Leadership Program.
