NURBN3003 Leadership in Nursing within a Healthcare Context
This course aims to build on knowledge and skills for leading health care teams. Students will be guided in exploration of their leadership style within the context of complex healthcare workplaces. Students will critically evaluate the roles and responsibilities in managing healthcare teams to achieve organisational effectiveness. Group dynamics will be explored with a focus on developing networks and engaging with staff who are working across inter-professional teams and external stakeholders.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
