BUTSM6905 Future World Tourism
This is the final course in the Graduate Certificate in Tourism Futures and, as the capstone, it seeks to draw together the knowledge acquired in the three prerequisite courses with the aim of assisting tourism practitioners advance their understanding and pursuit of tourism practice. This course aims to further students' knowledge of the emerging international growth markets as well as trends in domestic markets. Focus is provided on the fast-growing international tourism markets of China, India and the Asian inbound tourism market; understanding their unique requirements to consider potential future opportunities at a destination / operational level.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
