BSMAN3010 Applied Services Marketing
This course aims to provide an introduction to the application of marketing theory for service-oriented organisations. On completion of this course, students should be able to recognise how the distinctive characteristics of services marketing can help businesses deliver customer satisfaction. They should understand the factors that influence customer expectations and perceptions of service, and how services marketing can be used to deliver an integrated organisational customer focus. Students are required to critically analyse organisational marketing strategies, evaluate the service industry environment from a marketing perspective and analyse organisational service quality. Students are also required to demonstrate professional report writing skills in the presentation of market research, marketing analysis or strategic marketing planning.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
