Community, connection and culture is at the heart of Federation. The Aboriginal Education Centre host cultural events on our campuses for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students throughout the year, so come along and join us.
Closing the gap in education

Koling wada-ngal karrung school camp
Join a week-long uni and TAFE camp for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Years 9–11. Stay on campus, get hands-on with classes and take part in cultural experiences.
Financial assistance
Our Deadly scholarships aim to improve higher education access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly those who need to relocate from regional and remote areas in order to access study.
Deadly scholarships are administered on behalf of the Indigenous Student Success Program. Only Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are eligible to apply.
