Domestic full fee–paying fees
If you're not eligible for Commonwealth support, you'll have to pay the full tuition fee for your higher education course or non-award units.
A domestic full fee–paying place is one that isn’t subsidised by the Australian Government. This means you’ll be paying the entire tuition fee yourself. If you’re eligible for a FEE-HELP loan, you can defer some or all of this payment.
How your tuition fee is calculated
How much you pay will depend on your course type, your study mode and what year you started. The annual tuition fee for each course is based on a standard study load (full-time enrolment of 120 credit points or 1.0 EFTSL) unless stated otherwise.
Tuition fees are charged for each semester you're enrolled. The total for each unit is calculated by multiplying the unit study load and the applicable course annual fee.
If you commenced from 2018 onwards
Tuition fees will be charged according to the annual fee applicable to the year you're studying. Fees are fixed for each calendar year (1 January to 31 December), and any fee increases will be applied at the beginning of each year.
If you commenced before 2018
Tuition fees will remain fixed for your course duration. The annual tuition fee you were charged for your first year of study will apply to all subsequent years.
