This activity combines experiential learning, teamwork, problem-solving, and city exploration in a supportive and engaging environment. You'll work in small groups, accompanied by Federation University staff, to complete challenges and apply real-world skills while exploring Melbourne.
You'll build confidence using trains, trams, and buses; understand pedestrian and tram safety requirements; identify safe places and people to seek assistance from; and develop practical strategies for responding to common challenges, such as service disruptions, becoming separated from a group, or having a flat phone battery.
The Road Ready Melbourne Challenge also provides an excellent opportunity to connect with their peers, build social networks, and become more familiar with living and travelling in Melbourne.
There'll be prizes for completing challenges successfully!
