Students as Partners

You can help shape the student experience by sharing feedback or stepping into leadership and advocacy roles. Your voice is important – and we’re here to listen.

Your feedback and ideas matter

We want to improve the way we do things at Federation. The way we teach, how we offer support, our administration processes – the overall student experience. But we can't do this alone. Students as Partners is all about bringing you closer to decision-making and planning processes, and giving you a voice in shaping university initiatives. Your feedback is vital. It gives us an understanding of what's working and where we could make changes.

Tell us what you think

Share your thoughts through surveys, competitions or email.
Student surveys
Our surveys cover a range of topics and your responses are kept anonymous.
Competitions
We advertise our competitions on our socials and in emails, but you can also enter via our webpage.

Your feedback in action

When you share your thoughts, we listen. We consider your ideas, concerns and feelings and incorporate them into our future planning. Read about some of the recent actions we've taken as a result of student feedback.

Student advocacy opportunities

Test our digital prototypes

We want our online systems to be efficient and easy to use, but we need students to test and talk about new designs so we know if we're on the right track.

If you'd like to be part of our digital feedback group, please complete the expression of interest form. We'll keep your details on file and contact you if an opportunity comes up. Sessions take around 40 minutes, and you'll receive a $50 gift card for taking part.

Collaboration through leadership

Our Emerging Leaders Program encourages students to take on paid or volunteer roles at Federation.
