University Basketball League (UBL) is Australia’s national university basketball competition, run by UniSport and endorsed by Basketball Australia. It provides student‑athletes with a platform to compete in a high‑performance, home‑and‑away season against universities across the country, with both men’s and women’s teams participating. Established in 2021, the UBL is the nation’s only dedicated university sports league and continues to grow each year as more institutions join the competition.

Meet the team

Our 2026 squads include students from across Federation including nursing, physiotherapy, education, psychology and sport science. Many players have achieved success at state and national levels and bring valuable representative experience to the team.

The 2026 season starts Wednesday 12 August and finishes Wednesday 23 September.

Meet the coach

Coach Tyler Kennedy is leading the Fed Falcons again in our 2026 campaign. After taking the helm for the 2025 season, Tyler returns ready to use his extensive experience as a coach and elite level player to lead the Falcons forward.
