Support scholarships
Scholarships supported by the Federation University Foundation help students stay focused on learning, complete their studies and realise their potential.
Scholarships are made possible through the generosity of our community of supporters. Support is directed to students who face financial or structural barriers to participation, including those from regional areas and under represented communities.
Why scholarships matter
Scholarships provide stability and confidence, enabling students to focus on learning, participate fully in university life, and plan for the future. Support is directed to students who face financial or structural barriers to participation, including those from regional areas and underrepresented communities.
How you can support scholarships at Federation
Each year, Foundation-supported scholarships help students across disciplines, campuses and study levels. Whether you want to support students experiencing financial hardship, those from rural and regional areas, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, or another cause that matters to you, we'll work with you to develop transparent, independent scholarship criteria. You can contribute to an existing scholarship fund or establish a new scholarship.
We're committed to respectful, ethical storytelling. While we aim to create meaningful connections between donors and recipients, student names and stories are shared only with informed, voluntary consent.
Contact foundation@federation.edu.au if you'd like to discuss scholarship funding or have any questions about the process.
