Career paths
Brewer Maltster: Any person working in the malting, brewing and allied industries would benefit by participating in this program. The course will assist in the following: New graduates entering the malting and brewing industries provide specialised training for suppliers to the malting and brewing industries employees of the industry requiring further skills training upgrading of skills for long term employees of the industry complement existing training courses in the malting and brewing industries provide small brewers (and those planning to commence small brewery operations) with an introduction to the science and technology of malting and brewing.

Fees and scholarships
The fee for the program will be at an approximate cost of $2,200 (including GST, excluding accommodation and breakfast). The registration fee for the five day program will include lunches, morning and afternoon teas, dinners and lecture material. You will need to arrange and pay for your own accommodation and breakfast - costs for this will vary dependant on where you chose to stay but generally range between $80-$150 per night. There are options for on campus student accommodation, as well as with local motels. More information on accommodation options will be provided on acceptance into the program.
