This course examines contemporary art and design in relationship to art and design of the past and in the light of current theories and approaches. A thematic model will be adopted as an appropriate means to overview the field. Such topics as Nature, Technology, Popular Culture, Identity, Self and Body will be examined. Guest specialists in art, graphic design and other disciplines will contribute to the program, bringing rewarding personal insights and experiences.
