This unit extends students¿ understanding of drawing processes as central to artistic and aesthetic practice. Students strengthen their critical, analytical and observational skills through engagement with contemporary drawing approaches, expanding their understanding of the medium¿s themes, materials and processes. Through experimentation and investigation, students develop confidence in applying drawing techniques, problem-solving skills and individual creative approaches. The unit supports increasingly independent studio practice through practical exploration, reflection and the development of personal visual language.

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Domestic full fee–paying places
