SCENV2202 Wildlife Ecology and Conservation
Wildlife Ecology and Conservation explores the knowledge and skills required to conserve and manage wildlife species, populations and communities. There is a strong focus on how wildlife are managed in contemporary landscapes, exploring the impact of processes such as fragmentation, urbanisation and utilisation of wildlife. The conservation of wildlife species is considered in detail including the policy and regulatory frameworks, the establishment of conservation priorities and the practicality of implementing conservation actions.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
