SCCOR3001 Research Project

This unit is designed for students enrolled in science courses to further develop their independent learning and research skills. Students will undertake a supervised experimental research or scientific communication project that addresses a clearly defined problem. The unit provides an opportunity for in-depth investigation of a contemporary scientific issue within a relevant field of study. As part of the unit, students will develop a project proposal with clearly defined objectives, collect, analyse, interpret, and critically evaluate research data or scientific information from reputable sources, and communicate their findings to a professional standard in a format appropriate to their project aims.

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Domestic full fee–paying places
