PSYCM7129 Psychological practice in the community
This unit enables students to evaluate their readiness for general registration as a psychologist, identify and address priority learning needs, and consolidate reflective, self-regulated professional practice. Students will demonstrate advanced clinical psychology competence in ethical and culturally safe practice; assessment, diagnosis and formulation; evidence-based intervention; routine outcome and therapeutic alliance monitoring; digital and e-health practice; and consultation and collaboration. Drawing on clinical data from their psychological practice in the community, students apply scientist-practitioner principles to evaluate clinical practice and demonstrate advanced applied clinical research skills.
