PSYCB1111 Understanding People and Behaviour
This unit introduces students to the major concepts, theories, methods and research findings that underpin the scientific study of psychology. Students will examine a broad range of psychological topics and develop an understanding of how psychological science investigates human thought and behaviour. The unit also introduces students to the interpretation and application of psychological knowledge across a range of personal, social and professional contexts. It provides an essential foundation for further study in psychology and for the development of more advanced disciplinary knowledge and skills.
