PADWD3005 DANCE PERFORMANCE SKILLS
"This course completes the development of skills and techniques learnt in Dance1- 4. It is designed as a link to and preparation for potential work in the theatre industry. It will also explore contemporary dance techniques and the work of seminal artistic figures related to dance and movement as a form. Topics may include: ¿ postural alignment; ¿ barre work and centre work ¿ advanced techniques of various dance and physical theatre forms. ¿ jazz/music theatre dance, ¿ tap, ¿ contemporary dance and movement. "
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
