PAATP3001 THEATRE PERFORMANCE SKILLS
Performance Skills is a course designed to deepen the practice of the individual in acting, and voice. Moving beyond the acquisition of skills towards an awareness of the whole performer, actors will focus on a series of acting and performance tasks designed to blend theory with practice, and to integrate a complex level of mind and body approaches to theatre and film performance, with a particular emphasis on contemporary approaches to dramaturgy. Dramaturgy is defined in this course as the art of realising the performance. Actors will focus on refining their techniques in all skills areas by interpreting or creating scenes and realizing performance works for the stage.
