OEEDU2400 Water Environments
Students explore the value of the environment in outdoor education through water environments. Students continue to develop a connection to the outdoors and necessary skills for safe and effective participation in flat and open water environments and critically reflect on their experiences through analysing the related literature. Students participate in an extended paddling experience incorporating theory developed in class, including: the value of nature in outdoor environmental education, sustainability in water environments, safety, paddling and outdoor living skills.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
