NURBN2016 Nursing Practice 4: Advanced Pathophysiology & Pharmacology Applied to Nursing
This Course is the second unit focusing on pathophysiology and pharmacology for nursing care. This unit will focus on the endocrine; hepatic/immune; renal; reproductive systems; and the special senses throughout the lifespan. Students will develop knowledge and skills in relation to medication administration and common pharmacological interventions in the management and treatment of identified National Health Priority areas. Students will be expected to identify safe, effective, evidence-based nursing interventions and strategies for management and treatment of commonly identified conditions.

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
