NURBN1101 Introduction to the Nursing Profession
This unit introduces students to the foundational frameworks that guide nursing practice in Australia, focusing on professional standards, ethical responsibilities, and regulatory requirements. It explores the role of nurses in delivering safe, person-centred care across various healthcare settings while responding to national and global health priorities underpinned by the strengths-based nursing framework. Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
