NHPPS2124 Cardiovascular and Respiratory Anatomy and Physiology
Students will gain an introduction into the role that physiotherapists have within both cardiorespiratory and acute care setting. Students will have to apply their knowledge of body systems, particularly the cardiopulmonary system, to the analysis of clinical cases commonly seen across the lifespan within the acute health care setting. Students acquire assessment and intervention skills and further develop clinical reasoning abilities based around evidence based practice This unit includes 10 Hours Professional Experience Placement
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
