NHPPS1002 Introduction to Physiotherapy Applications
The unit will continue to build on the theoretical and practical skills required to work within the physiotherapy profession. Students will gain further foundational physiotherapy knowledge and skills in the application of assessment and treatment techniques, targeting the spine and upper limb. Research and literature search skills will continue to be encouraged, emphasised and explored. Students will improve their competency in a variety of treatment techniques including the use of electrophysical agents. Unit contains 12 Hours of Professional Experience Placement.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
