NHPBM1032 Anatomy and Physiology for Rehabilitation Science 2

This unit will introduce the principles of human body structure and function as relevant for allied health students. This will include a detailed study of the gross anatomical structure and functional anatomy of the upper limb, and the various body systems including the special senses, the respiratory, cardiovascular, integumentary, lymphatic, digestive, endocrine, renal and reproductive systems. An integrated understanding of the human body will be achieved through online learning and practical sessions, including the interactive study of digital human cadaveric models and clinical case-studies. This blended approach to learning will facilitate the integration of learning material with contemporary clinical practice, through the correlation of anatomical structure to physiological function.

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
