LITCR1001 Introduction to Creative Writing
This is an introductory course and will be run as a seminar program where reading, writing, rewriting and revision will be undertaken by students who are interested in understanding and developing their own creative writing process and those utilised by other writers. Through an examination of contemporary texts including poetry, prose, song lyrics, gaming narratives, blogs and short story forms, students will explore the relationship between creative processes and the development of written and performative text. Students will utilise these processes and textual materials to stimulate their own creative writing projects.
