ITECH7401 Leadership in IT Project Management
This course provides the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills to lead successful IT projects in line with project management standards and methodologies. You will investigate the alignment of projects to organisational strategic objectives, explore features of successful projects and determine strategies to mitigate risk of failure. You will adopt the role of leader to develop skills such as team building, delegation, and negotiation techniques to lead a successful project. You will also be expected to prepare written documentation and provide verbal project progress reports.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
