ITECH2501 Business analytics and decision support
This unit will cover business analytics and decision support, consisting of decision support systems (DSS), business intelligence (BI) and various decision-making techniques. Students will explore and examine theories and principles of business analytics and decision, including descriptive analytic, predictive analytic, and prescriptive analytic approaches. Students will have opportunities to apply these skills and knowledge to realworld business questions, comparing and selecting relevant analytic strategies, and formulating meaningful insights and solutions for supporting decision-making.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
