HEAAN6607 Specialty Perioperative Nursing Practice

This unit will provide the Registered Nurse with the advanced knowledge and skills required to provide evidence-based best-practice care across the continuum of the perioperative patient's journey. This unit will build on advanced assessment knowledge and skills and build the Registered Nurse's knowledge of core perioperative principles. Students will apply their advanced knowledge, critical thinking and clinical reasoning within the perioperative setting working as anaesthetic, circulating, instrument and post anaesthetic care unit (PACU) nurse.

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Domestic full fee–paying places
