HEAAN6604 Specialty Emergency Nursing Practice

This unit explores the applied role of the advanced clinical nurse in the emergency care setting. Through this unit students will engage in the application of advanced level clinical reasoning in the emergency care clinical setting. This unit focuses on advanced level integration of theoretical knowledge of pathophysiology of illness and injury, advanced health assessment via a systems approach and application of evidence-based practice for the safe and high-quality care of the emergency patient across the lifespan.

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
