HCAGE6033 ASSESSING COMPLEXITY IN AGED CARE
This third course in the six course Aged Care sequence advances the core competencies of the specialist nurse in aged care practice in undertaking holistic clinical assessment of elderly patients and their families. It builds on previously developed propositional knowledge and advanced practice craft knowledge. Students will either be employed in an aged care practice context, or will arrange to take a clinical practicum in an aged care setting while undertaking this course. A practicum will be a minimum of one day per week over a ten week period, or two weeks toward the middle of the teaching period.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
