GPFSP1102 Academic and Communication Skills B
The Academic and Communication Skills B course is the continuation of using Australian English to meet the demands of further academic study. The course aims to extend the students' knowledge, skills and application learnt in Academic and Communication Skills A. Students will be assessed on their ability to apply their skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking and their application to various academic assessment types. The key focus of this course is the application of academic writing techniques to various forms of academic assessment.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
