GPENT1501 Creativity and Innovation
This unit develops creative, design based, problem-solving skills to identify emerging opportunities and challenge conventional wisdoms. The interactive tutorial format allows students to explore ways to be creative and overcome blocks in this process. The creative solutions that come from such interactive learning experiences are then examined for their ability to be successfully exploited as innovations, in the competitive market or as value-added elements to non-market activities in the public sector or non-profit organisations. This unit has been designed to incorporate additional learning hours to support students' academic and study skill development.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
