EXSCI2172 Functional Human Anatomy
This unit enables students to study the structures and kinesiological functions of the musculoskeletal system of the human body. Knowledge of functional anatomy can be applied in a variety of settings/situations and the unit will equip students with the fundamental skills to apply their knowledge in analysing discrete phases in an activity or exercise and identify the major muscular contributors to each joint movement. The unit will also equip them with the skills to administer and interpret flexibility, range of motion, anthropometric measurements and perform postural analysis.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
