EDBED3130 English Curriculum 2
This unit is designed to enhance knowledge and skills related to the e¿ective teaching of English in secondary schools. It has a particular focus on the teaching of English at senior levels. PSTs will learn how to design curriculum and assessment related to the required knowledge and skills. PSTs will learn to use a range of teaching strategies, including the e¿ective use of ICT, resources and assessment approaches that help students to be perceptive, skilled readers and writers able to participate in substantive conversations in both face-to-face and online contexts.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

2025 grandfathered contribution amount* $578
Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
