EAAPP6001 English for Academic Purposes (Advanced) 6A

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP6 A) unit is tailored for the needs of international students wishing to succeed in academic study in Australia. EAP6A is the first five-weeks of a ten-week unit of study of the advanced level of the English for Academic Purposes Level 6 course. Students who successfully complete the course will be able to move to the next five- week level EAP6B study of the EAP6 unit in preparation for tertiary study at Federation University. Students receive a progress report upon completion of each five-week unit. This course¿aims to develop the advanced reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, computer and study skills required for further study at Federation University, for diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It focuses on building students' confidence in the fundamental language skills in an academic context with an emphasis on developing critical thinking and academic literacy skills.
