COOPI9011 Co-operative placement (Information Technology)
The co-operative industry placement provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and gain valuable experience and insights into workplace culture and practice, relevant to their field of study. During this time, students will undertake an approved work program, within their discipline area, designed by their workplace supervisor and supported by an academic advisor. The paid placement comprises at least 30 days FTE work, taken either full-time or part-time. Students will reflect on the skills, experience, and professional competency they have obtained and receive constructive feedback and evaluation from their employer.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

2025 grandfathered contribution amount* $2,329
Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
