COMMD3015 Professional Practice & Design Strategy
This course explores the concept of professionalism in communication design as it relates to the work designers produce and the processes by which they produce it. It addresses contemporary issues, such as sustainability and ethics within professional practice. Further this course develops an understanding of professional practice with an emphasis on the strategic use of design within an organisation. Through industry and community engagement students gain the opportunity to apply their design knowledge and expertise, and develop their ability to act as responsible and capable professionals.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
